David L. Hoppes, President
Mutual Savings Association, FSA
Fourth & Shawnee, PO Box 949

By introduction, Gwen and I apologize for the delay in writing this letter. Not
through fault of your association, this letter's subject matter is of significant emotional
import to us; we wish to be calm with this letter.
Our purpose is to inform you of the positive assistance of and to thank your Vice
President & Loan Officer Amanda Schrick.
Early last spring, we sought to re-finance our home mortgage. Our due diligence
took us to a very large, US military-oriented financial services and insurance
organization. We submitted to them a re-finance loan application for what we knew to
be favorable terms.
Keeping in mind the earnest monies we had paid, Gwen & I did not complete that
re-financing transaction. We won't bore your with the details. After three months of
fruitless attempts at mortgage loan processing we concluded this very large
organization's mortgage loan business was, at best, administratively inept. Not wishing
to make mortgage-loan trivia a negative part of our normal life for many years, Gwen
and I cancelled our application. We then renewed our mortgage re-financing search.
Several weeks later, our searches lead us back to Mutual Savings Association and
Mandee. Just over a month after we initially talked with her, we had our re-financed
mortgage. In the interim, Mandee personally kept us informed of the progress of our
loan application -a set of events and an information flow remarkably absent from our
immediately prior experience.
Thank you for building a positive organization.
